Autorka této práce se snaží na základě analýzy Hlaváčkových a Březinových textů zjistit, jaký je rozdíl v jimi užívaných symbolech. Úkolem této práce je odkrýt významy symbolů v básnických sbírkách zmíněných autorů a cílem je jejich interpretace a porovnání. Porovnáním autorka práce odhalí, užívali-li zmínění autoři stejných či podobných symbolů a v jakém případě byly symboly shodně užity. Práce je členěna do tří částí. První část je věnovaná symbolismu. Jde v ní o zachycení hlavních znaků symbolismu a o zachycení motivů a symbolů v rámci symbolické poetiky. Ve druhé části jsou představeni autoři. Tato část pojednává v krátkosti o jejich životech. Třetí část obsahuje interpretaci a porovnání symbolů a jejich proměny v rámci básnických sbírek Otokara Březiny a Karla Hlaváčka. This diploma thesis deals with symbols in the work of Karel Havlíček and Otokar Březina. Based on the analysis of these works, the author is trying to depict the difference in symbols these famous Czech writers were using in their writing. The main focus of the theses is to get to the heart of symbols of these authors, interpret and compare them. The comparison helps to identify whether the symbols used by Karel Havlíček are the same or different from the Otokar Březina´s and shows the situations in which symbols were used identically. This work is divided into three parts. The first is focused on symbolism, depiction of its basic signs and capturing of its motives in a field of symbolic poetics. The second part focuses on the introduction of Karel Havlíček and Otokar Březina and a short treatise on their lives.
