V úvodu jsou jednotlivě rozebrána tato dvě média, aniž by se řešila jejich vzájemná kooperace. Teoretická část obsahuje důležité okamžiky ve vývoji obrazu a textu ve výtvarném umění od počátku 20. století. Práce se tak zabývá kaligramy, Devětsilem, kubismem, surrealismem, artificialismem, lettrismem, konceptuálním uměním, video a audio instalacemi, narativní fotografií a v neposlední řadě vybranými umělci, kteří ovlivňují autorku bakalářské práce. Závěr práce je soustředěn na písemnou obhajobu praktické části. The bachelor thesis deals with The Image and The Text. In the introduction are individually discussed these two media without resolving of mutual cooperation. The theoretical part contains the important moments in the development of the image and the text in art from the early 20th century. The thesis deals with the calligram, Devětsil, cubism, surrealism, artificialism, lettrism, conceptual art, video and audio installations, narrative photography and finally the selected artists who influence the author of this thesis.
