Ve své první části, práce definuje pojem šanson a vymezuje základní charakteristiky tohoto hudebního žánru. Věnuje se všem aspektům, potřebným ke správnému porozumění pojmu. Danými aspekty jsou složka hudební, textová a interpretační. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na tradici šansonu. Nejprve v krátkosti pojednává o vývoji a samotném zrodu šansonu především ve Francii, ale i v jiných evropských státech. Dále se pak věnuje výhradně historickému vývoji českého šansonu od konce 19. století až po současnost. The aim of this Bachelor's Thesis is to clarify the chanson tradition and its development in the Czech Republic. In its first part the work defines chanson and defines the basic characteristics of this musical genre. It covers all aspects necessary for a proper understanding of the concept. Given aspects are the musical component, text and interpretation. The second part focuses on the tradition of chanson. First briefly discusses the development and the creation of chanson especially in France, but also in other European countries.
