V programovacím období 2007-2013 jsou řešeny operační programy cíle konvergence financované z Evropského fondu pro regionální rozvoj a Fondu soudržnosti. Na příkladu Ústeckého kraje je ukázáno, do jakých oblastí podpory projekty ve vybraných operačních programech směřují, kdo jsou příjemci dotací a jak si Ústecký kraj vede v čerpání dotací v porovnání s ostatními kraji České republiky. Na závěr jsou uvedeny příklady čtyř projektů realizovaných v Ústeckém kraji. This Diploma thesis is focused on Cohesion policy of the European Union and its implementation in the Czech Republic through operational programs. There is an overview of the operational programmes and process of drawing subsidies in programming period 2004-2006 and 2007-2013. In the period of 2007-2013 the thesis is focused on programmes of the Convergence objective financed from the European Fund for Regional Development and Cohesion Fund. On the example of Usti Region the thesis shows the drawing subsidies what is the focus of supported projects, who are beneficiaries of subsidies and what is the position of Usti region in drawing subsidies compared with other regions.
