Note Ved. práce Václav Krahulík Abstract Cílem mé diplomové práce bylo vytvořit portrét Bohuše Herana jako uznávaného violoncellisty a člena různých komorních a orchestrálních sdružení. Popsat jeho postupný vývoj od hudebních počátků až do posledních let působení nejen v umělecké, ale též pedagogické sféře. Vyzdvihnout jeho přínos v oblasti techniky hry na violoncello vystavěném na zkušenostech získaných z dob studií ve Francii. Upozornit na zakladatele jediné violoncellové soutěže v naší republice ?Heranova soutěž? při ?Kocianově Ústí? a zároveň spoluorganizátora Mezinárodních interpretačních kurzů v Brně při Janáčkově akademii múzických umění. V práci jsou záměrně uvedeny názory Bohuše Herana na přístup k učení, které si vytvářel během let své dlouholeté praxe. Jeho názory na výuku, jež jsou velmi ucelené a z nichž čiší autorův osobitý přístup, lze uplatnit při metodickém vedení žáků a studentů všech věkových kategorií i v dnešní době. The aim of my diploma thesis was to characterise Bohuš Heran as a famous violoncellist and a member of various chamber and orchestra groups. To describe his progressive development from his musical beginnings to the final years of his work in artistic and educational area. To emphasize his contribution in the area of violoncello playing technique built on his experience gained during his studies in France. To draw attention to the founder of the only violoncello contest in our country called "Heran's Contest" at "Kocian's Ústí" and at the same time co-organizator of International interpretation courses at Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. In my thesis there are specifically cited his opinions on the ways how to teach which he developed throughout the years of his profession. We can apply his opinions, which are very compact and from which we can sense the author's characterful approach, even today for methodical leading of pupils and students of all age groups.
