Podle původní definice Jeana Dubuffeta patří mezi umění art brut dětská tvorba, tvorba psychicky nemocných jedinců a díla mediumiků. Práce je rozdělena na dvě základní části. První kapitola se zabývá historií a současnou situací art brut. Teoretická část je zaměřena na tvorbu psychicky narušených lidí, protože autor, kterému je věnována druhá část práce, je osoba s diagnostikou onemocnění schizoafektivní psychóza. Druhá kapitola je monografií českého umělce Zdeňka Koška, který je řazen do oblasti art brut. Monografie je členěna zvlášť na podkapitolu Životopis, kde jsou ucelené informace o životě a nemoci pana Koška, a podkapitolu Tvorba. V této podkapitole jsou vybraná díla analyzována.. -- Abstract: The work is devoted to the art brut. According to the original definition of Jean Dubuffet, art brut includes child creation, creation of mentally ill and works of mediums. The work is divided into two parts. The first chapter deals with the history and current situation of art brut. The theoretical part is focused on the creation of mentally disturbed people, because the author, to whom is devoted the second part, is the person with the diagnosis of disease schizophrenia. The second chapter is a monograph of the Czech artist Zdeněk Košek, who lives in Ústí nad Labem. One part of his work is sorted into the art brut. The monograph is divided in subsection Biography, with comprehensive information about the life and illnesses of Mr. Košek, and subchapter of Creation. This subchapter is a cross-section of the works of Košek and analysis of them.
