Spojitost se prověřuje pomocí ultrazvukové zkoušky po obrobení odlitku. My Bachelor thesis is about present production of pistons for combustion engines AUDI TFSI 1,8 with 2,0 l and about trials of new technology in KS Kolbenschmidt Czech Republic, a.s These two pistons are made in Kolbenschmidt Czech Republic a.s. from liquid alloy to final product. In the first part I am describing existing technologies of production mainly the problems during production and then following scrap rate evaluation according to inadhesion of ring carriers with piston material. In the second part I am introducing the new method of ring carrier?s preparation before alfinizing in the liquid alloy. At the end of my thesis I evaluate the tests and compare with existing results. The point of my thesis is tested new method of ring carrier?s preparation in order to better quality of ring carrier?s inadhesion with piston material, which is checked with ultrasonic detection after machining.
