Oponent Adéla Svobodová Abstract Jako téma mé diplomové práce jsem zvolila problematiku a konflikty pojmu i pocitu domova. Volba tématu vychází z osobní zkušenosti s přestěhováním, z dlouhodobého pozorování každodennosti v novém prostředí a i později, kdy se z něho začne stávat známé. Toto téma vnímám jako velmi křehké a citlivé, ve významu neukotvení a pocitu sounáležitosti i pocitu stagnace. Vznáším a snažím se odpovědět na otázky nabourávající koncept domova, stavím proti sobě různé názory chápání a zároveň je propojuji. Výsledkem je autorská kniha s názvem sTick with home, vykazující znaky reportáže, která jejím prostřednictvím prozkoumává tyto otázky. Snažím se dostat čtenářovi blíže a poskytnout náhled na toto téma, kdy mu může pomoct k uvědomění, inspirovat ke smýšlení o domově v jiných kontextech. Inspirovat ke všímání si maličkostí, prožívání momentů a empatii i napojení se na okolí. Tohoto se snažím dosáhnout prostřednictvím textů rozhovorů, které mají někdy až formu citátů v kombinaci s vlastními fotografiemi. Kniha se tako zabývá v souvislosti s domovem a percepcí místa a okamžiku, pomíjivostí okamžiku a ceněním obyčejností, což se promítá v obrazovém materiálu, kdy zároveň zkoumám praktické hledisko použití a vytvoření pocitu video sekvence v tištěném médiu. Následující strany mé písemné diplomové práce popisují základní roviny uvažování o daném tématu a ohledávání jeho spojitostí, socio-kulturních aspektů, specifika formálních výstupů, studium rešerší, hledáním způsobu předání konceptu z pozice spoluautora, grafického designéra s plněním některých funkcí dokumentaristy. As the topic of my diploma thesis, I have chosen the issue and conflicts of the concept and feeling of home. The choice of topic stems from personal experience with moving, from long-term observation of everyday life in a new environment, and also later, when that environment begins to become familiar. I perceive this topic as very fragile and sensitive, in the sense of rootlessness and a feeling of belonging, as well as a feeling of stagnation. I raise and try to answer questions that challenge the concept of home, placing different views of understanding in contrast with each other, while also connecting them. The result is an authorial book, showing elements of reportage, which explores these questions through its form. I aim to approach the reader more closely and offer a perspective on this theme that may help them reflect, and inspire them to think about home in different contexts. To inspire awareness of small things, the experience of moments, and empathy or connection with the surroundings. I try to achieve this through a combination of interview texts, sometimes taking the form of quotations, and my own photographs. The book also deals with the theme of home in connection with the perception of place and moment, the transience of time, and the appreciation of the ordinary. These aspects are reflected in the visual material, where I also explore the practical aspect of creating a sense of video sequence within a printed medium. The following pages of my written diploma thesis describe the basic levels of thinking about the topic and the exploration of its connections, socio-cultural aspects, specifics of formal outcomes, literature review, and the search for ways of conveying the concept from the position of a co-author, a graphic designer, fulfilling some functions of a documentarian.
