The bachelor's thesis titled Judiciary in the Political District of Ústí nad Labem 1850-1938 focuses on the organization of the judiciary in the period after the revolutionary years of 1848-49 until the end of the First Czechoslovak Republic. It deals with the origins of the modern judicial system arising from the revolutionary movement, the absolutism of the 1850s and its reflection in the organization of the judiciary, the constitutionalism in the second half of the 19th century and its manifestation in the judicial system and finally, the organization of the judiciary in the First Czechoslovak Republic. The thesis puts the general historical facts in the local context of the political district of Ústí nad Labem and its two judicial circuits - Ústí nad Labem and Chabařovice. Another responsib.
