Teoretická část se zabývá politickou, sociální a ekonomickou situací v Německu v roce 1933, kvůli které byla německá společnost rozdělena a později dopustila pálení knih. První kapitola objasňuje nacistickou propagandu a diktaturu, která vedla k očistě kultury a civilizace. Praktická část se soustředí na reakce československého tisku a názory žurnalistů v Československu. Nejvíce se bakalářská práce zaměřuje na hledání článků o českých autorech, Haškovi a Olbrachtovi, jejichž knihy byly spáleny. This bachelor thesis deals with the reactions of the Czech press on the Nazi Book burnings on 10th May 1933. The theoretical part explains the political, social and economic situation in Germany in 1933 that divided the German society, which led to the big occasion. The first chapter explains the propaganda and dictatorship of Nazi that leaded to refining of culture and civilization. The practical part focuses on the reactions of the Czech press and the opinion of journalists in Czechoslovakia.
