Smyslem naší bakalářské práce bylo, na tématu pěší turistiky seniorů v Ústí nad Labem, dokladovat význam volnočasových aktivit pro plnohodnotný život seniorů. Závěrečná práce pod názvem: "Možnosti rozvoje pěší turistiky seniorů v Ústí nad Labem" je členěna do dvou částí, teoretické a hlavní. Teoretická část je věnována především obecným aspektům pěší turistiky a specifice pohybové aktivity seniorů. Hlavní část mapuje stav pěší turistiky seniorů v Ústí nad Labem a obsahuje zjištění získaná pomocí ankety, vyhodnocení údajů a návrh dalších možností rozvoje seniorské turistiky v Ústí nad Labem. Bakalářskou práci doplňuje 20 grafů, 2 tabulky a 3 přílohy týkající se dotazníkového průzkumu. Seniors' mobility activities play an important role in ensuring the quality of life also in a society-wide context. The aim of our bachelor thesis was to document the importance of leisure activities for the fully-fledged life of seniors. This was done on the basis of the theme of hiking of senior citizens in Ústí nad Labem. The final thesis entitled "The possibilities of development of hiking of senior citizens in Ústí nad Labem" is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the main part. The theoretical part is devoted mainly to the general aspects of hiking and the specifics of the physical activity of seniors. The main part describes the situation of hiking of seniors in Ústí nad Labem and contains the findings obtained through a survey, data evaluation and suggestions for further development of senior tourism in Ústí nad Labem.
