Greena, který provedla Veronika Volhejnová, adekvátní, a upozornit na případné nedostatky překladu. Teoretická část práce nejprve popisuje obecnou teorii překladu a poté se zaměřuje na překladatelský proces a specifika, která stylizaci překladu ovlivňují. Praktická část obsahuje literární a stylistickou analýzu. Literární analýza se zaměřuje na charakteristiku vybraných postav a na styl jejich vyjadřování. Stylistická analýza textu dokládá na vybraných pasážích, zda byl překlad proveden adekvátně vzhledem k originálnímu znění a zároveň vzhledem k pravidlům při překladu z anglického do českého jazyka. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out whether the Czech translation of J. Green's novel The Fault in Our Stars by Veronika Volhejnová is adequate and to detect potential imperfections of her translation. The theoretical part is focused on a general theory of translation and further on a process of translation and specific features that influence a style of translation. The practical part consists of literary and stylistic analysis. The literary analysis is focused on characteristics of chosen characters and on style of their speech. The stylistic analysis shows on selected sections from the text whether is the translation adequate considering the original text and grammatical rules for translation from English to Czech language.
