Heinova novela představovala zvrat v literatuře NDR. Obě díla jsou analyzována s přihlédnutím na historické společensko-politické události v NDR. Analýza se opírá o autentické úvahy Götze Fritsche, které nebyly doposud nikde publikovány.. -- Abstract: The goal of this thesis is the comparison of novel written by Christoph Hein "The Distant Lover" and its adaptation into radio play made by Götz Fritsch. Hein´s novel meant significant turn in the literature of Eastern Germany, so both of the pieces are analyzed in detail with consideration of historical social and political events. As a part of the analysis there are also authentic Götz Fritsch considerations which were till this time not documented.
