Note CD nedodáno Abstract Diplomová práce se zabývá psychologickou zátěží, která působí na vojáky v zahraničních misích a z ní plynoucí problémy, ovlivňující volnočasové aktivity a užívání návykových látek. Práce je zaměřena zejména na vojenskou policii. Teoretická část se nejprve zabývá historií a geografickými podmínkami v zemích do kterých jsou naši vojáci vysíláni. Osvětluji i zásady pro výběr nových vojáků a požadavky kladené pro výjezd vojáků do mise. Druhá část teoretické časti je zaměřena na možnosti volnočasových aktivit a vzdělávání. Empirická část je zaměřena na vyhodnocení dotazníku, a jsou zde položeny otázky ke zjištění změn, které nastaly v zahraniční misi a po jejím ukončení v oblasti volnočasových aktivit a užívání návykových látek. My diploma paper deals with the psychological problems of the participants in foreign missions, and the impact of such problems on the participants' free-time activities, as well as their potential abuse of addictive drugs. The focus of my work is on the Military Police, but I am quite sure that the situation in other military branches is similar, and my work will be relevant there, too. My paper is divided into a theoretical part, and an empirical one. The theoretical part is first concerned with the history and geographic conditions of the countries where our soldiers are deployed. I explore the basic principles of stress, as caused by the temperature extremes in those countries, a long-term separation from the relatives and the natural fear when one is involved in the armed conflict. Based on these findings I propose the criteria for accepting the new soldiers into the armed forces, the personality traits which are necessary for the joining and then for participating in foreign missions. In the second part of the theoretical section I explore the availability of education and free-time activities in various military camps. This includes the Czech and Swedish camp as Kosovo bases and Shaiba and Basra as Iraqi bases. In the second, empirical, part of my paper I have placed the questionnaire with the data collected from about eighty soldiers. The questionnaire has three parts: - Anamnesis part with the basic information about the subject, such as their sex, age, number of missions. - Questions about the subject's drinking and smoking habits. - Questions about their free-time activities, such as sports, reading, other relaxation activities. All the questions are in three parts - before, during and after the mission. At the conclusion I formulated some theses and tested them against the material gathered from the questionnaires. I find this field of enquiry quite new and unexplored, and I am sure the results of my effort will be of interest to the workers in the field. Another responsib.
