Oponent Milan Bárta Abstract Práce se zabývá jednotlivými událostmi roku 1953 v Československu. Jedná se o tryznu za Josifa Stalina a pohřeb Klementa Gottwalda, volbu prezidenta republiky a jím udělenou amnestii, oslavy květnových svátků, měnovou reformu, povstání v Německé demokratické republice a vyslání dvou komisí neutrálních států do Koreje. Tyto zkoumá prostřednictvím Státní bezpečnosti. Práce se snaží jednak zhodnotit vývoj a stav bezpečnostního aparátu ve zkoumaném roce. Poté vliv Státní bezpečnosti na výše uvedené události, jakým způsobem se s nimi vypořádávala a jak je zvládala. Zásadním je zhodnocení kompetence bezpečnostního aparátu k udržení mocenského postavení Komunistické strany Československa. The thesis concerns events of the year 1953 in Czechoslovakia. That means remembrance ceremony for Joseph Stalin and the burial of Klement Gottwald, election of president and amnesty, which he ordered, celebration of holidays in May, monetary reform, uprising in the German Democratic Republic and sending two committees of neutral states to Korea. These are examined through State Security. The thesis on one hand tries to evaluate the evolution and condition of the security apparatus in the given year. Thereafter the influence of the State Security on the above mentioned events, in what way it dealt with them and how they were handled.
