Oponent Michal Holec Abstract Tato bakalářská práce shrnuje doposud publikované poznatky o adhezivních sétech sklípkanů čeledi Theraphosidae. Pavouci této čeledi se vyznačují schopností lokomoce po drsných i zcela hladkých substrátech, včetně kolmo orientovaných podkladů. Umožňují jim to adhezivní séty, které jsou sdružené ve skopuly, nalézající se na metatarzálních i tarzálních segmentech končetin, a v trsech sét kolem drápků na konci tarzálních, tj. chodidlových článků. V textu jsou také komentovány hypotézy o sekreční schopnosti končetinových sét produkovat hedvábný sekret, tzv. tarzální hedvábí, které má zabránit pádu ze svislých ploch. This bachelor's thesis summarizes the previously published knowledge about adhesive setae of tarantulas of the family Theraphosidae. Spiders of this family are characterized by the ability to move on rough, completely smooth or vertically oriented substrates. This movement is made possible by adhesive setae, grouped together in structures called scopulae, on the metatarsal and tarsal podomeres of the spider leg, and in tufts of setae around the claws at the end of the tarsal segments, in the claw tuft setae. Also the text comments on hypotheses about the secretory ability of tarsal setae to produce silk secretion, so-called tarsal silk, which is supposed to prevent falling from vertical surfaces.
