V teoretické části, se budu zabývat problematikou senátních voleb, vymezím zde pojem Senát, systém senátních voleb a problematiku zastoupení žen v senátních volbách. V praktické části, se budu zaobírat analýzou kandidátních listin do senátních voleb, s ohledem na zastoupení žen. Posléze budu analyzovat výsledky senátních voleb, od roku 1996 do roku 2016, zde budu rovněž zkoumat počet žen, které v těchto volbách uspěly.. -- Abstract: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the elections to the Senate of Parliament of the Czech Republic from the year 1996 to 2016 from the women's point of view. In the theoretical part I will deal with the issue of senate elections in general, I will define the concept of Senate, the system of senate elections, and the problematic of representation of women in Senate elections. In practical part I will deal with analysis of list of candidates in senate elections with regard to the representation of women. Furthermore, I will analyze the results of senate elections from 1996 to 2016, here I will also evaluate number of women, who succeeded in these elections.
