This master's thesis deals with the concept of the end of history by Francis Fukuyama. The first section describes Fukuyama's predecessors, specifically Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel and Alexandre Kojéve. The second part focuses on the interpretation of Fukuyama's end of history concept. The third part presents selected feedback of Fukuyama's end of history and the conception of its criticism.
