Ten se poměrně brzy stává účastníkem a svědkem bojů v první světové válce a proto se staví proti válečnému násilí. Jako jeden z prvních představitelů české inteligence poznává nebezpečí myšlenek fašizmu a jejich dopad na rodinu a přátele. To je hlavním důvodem, proč se po ukončení druhé světové války obrací k ideálům komunismu. Všechny okolnosti jeho rodinného, profesního a společenského života ho ovlivnily a promítly se do jeho tvorby. Práce se bude podrobně zabývat jednotlivými díly, kontextem vzniku, obsahem a hledáním ideologických motivů. Ty se objevují ve většině jeho knih, ať už přímo či skrytě. Ideologický podtext se nevyhnul ani příběhům s Ferdou Mravencem. Theme of this bachelor thesis are ideological thoughts in work of Ondřej Sekora, famous author of books for children. At very young age he became a participant and witness of battles during First World War and therefore it caused his stand against violence of war. As one of the first representatives of the Czech intelligence he recognized the danger of fascistic ideology and its impact on his family and friends. This is the main reason why he turned towards ideals of communism after the Worl War II.He was affected by his family, career and social life and all these aspects manifest itself in his work. This work will closely examine book after book in search of ideological motives which can be found in most of his books, some of them are shown directly and some as implication.
