V úvodní části je město popsáno jako správní centrum v historii a problematika práce je zde obecně zarámována. Nastíněny jsou zde zejména myšlenky o sociálně - ekonomickém systému, obchodě, společnosti a městě. Stěžejní částí práce je ta, která se zabývá strukturou podnikání v letech 1913, 1946 a 2010. Je zde popsán obchod a podnikatelská činnost v těchto třech letech a výsledkem je zjištění změny podnikání od počátku 20. století do současnosti. Přínosnou je také kapitola o Dlouhé ulici jako nejvýznamnější obchodní linii ve městě. Poukazuje na nejdéle fungující a prosperující firmy, na předchůdce současných firem a na strukturu obchodů v této linii. V závěru je zhodnocen vývoj podnikatelské činnosti, současný stav maloobchodu ve městě a navrženo potenciální podnikatelské využití pro litoměřické brownfields.. -- Abstract: This bachelor thesis researches business activities in Litomerice. The introduction part describes the city as an administrative center in history and general questions of the work are framed there. The ideas about a socio ? economic system, business, society and the town are also outlined in this part. The fundamental part of the work is concerned with structure of business in 1913,1946 and 2010. Business and business activities in these three years are described there and the results are findings of changes in business since the early 20th century to the present. Important is chapter about Dlouha street as it is the most notable business part of the city. The work focuses on the longest functioning and prosperous companies in the street, predecessors of current companies and on the market structure . There is also an evaluation of business development in the conclusion, present state of market in the city and also a proposed potential business use for Litomerice´s brownfields.
