Zkoumá formou projektových činností úroveň geometrické představivosti u dětí na 1. stupni ZŠ (9-11 let). Zabývá se mezipředmětovými vztahy mezi předměty matematika, konkrétně geometrie, výtvarná výchova, prvouka a vlastivěda, jejich vzájemným propojením a ovlivňováním. V části teoretické je uveden přehled požadavků na vzdělání ve vzdělávací oblasti Matematika a její aplikace, konkrétně ve vzdělávacím okruhu Geometrie v rovině a prostoru a Nestandardní aplikační úlohy a problémy, jsou vysvětleny pojmy prostorová představivost a poznávací procesy u dětí mladšího školního věku. Dále se v teoretické části zabývá vztahem člověka a jeho činností ke geometrii a přírodě, a k stavitelství a architektuře. Praktickou část tvoří dva projekty. První z nich je zaměřen více na planimetrii ? orientace v rovině a prostoru, zobrazování prostoru do roviny prostřednictvím dětské kresby, a je přípravou na druhý projekt, který je zaměřen na stereometrii ? práce s fotografií a mapou, zobrazování roviny do prostoru, tvorba modelů apod. Pro tyto projekty jsou vytvořeny pracovní listy situované na město, kde je škola, které byly s žáky vyzkoušeny a vyhodnoceny. This diploma thesis called Geometric elements in the architecture of our town is focused on the perception and depicting plane and solid objects by young learners. It explores the level of school children?s (aged 9-11) geometric imagination by the use of project activities. It deals with inter-subject relations between Mathematics, i.e. Geometry, Arts, Basics of Humanities and Natural Science, National History and Geography, their inter-relations and influences. The theoretical part consists of the overview of education requirements in the fields of Mathematics and its application, namely in the field of Plane and Solid Geometry and Non-standard Application Tasks. The terms ?spatial imagination? and ?cognitive processes? of young learners have been explained. Moreover the theoretical part deals with the relationship of man and his activities in contrast to Geometry and Environment, Construction and Architecture. The practical part consists of two projects. The first one is focused specifically on plane geometry, planar orientation, representing solid objects in two dimensions by the children?s drawings, and it is supposed to be a preparation for the second project, which is aimed at solid geometry ? representing plane in space by the means of model making, working with photography and map, etc. Worksheets oriented to our town?s school were made for these projects and worked out by the children.
