Stěžejním tématem, na které se celá práce zaměřuje, je problematika bioodpadů. Je zde nastíněn legislativní rámec odpadového hospodářství České republiky zabývající se biologicky rozložitelnými odpady včetně legislativy Evropské unie. Dále vymezení druhů biologicky rozložitelných odpadů a popis dostupných metod jejich zpracování. Hlavní část mé práce tkví v zdokumentování vývoje produkce komunálních odpadů ve městě Berouně a jeho okolí. Součástí je také analýza výsledků a ekonomické vyhodnocení nakládání s komunálním odpadem. Dále je zde popsán průběh pilotního projektu nakládání s biologicky rozložitelnými komunálními odpady. Stěžejní část se skládá ze zdokumentování sběru, svozu a využití biologicky rozložitelného komunálního odpadu ve městě Berouně a návrh dalšího řešení. V neposlední řadě obsahuje tato práce ekonomické aspekty nakládání s biologicky rozložitelným komunálním odpadem. Presented (master) thesis deals with waste management in the town of Beroun and its surroundings. The fundamental topic the whole thesis focuses on is the issue of biowaste. The thesis outlines the legislative framework of waste management in the Czech Republic dealing with biodegradable waste, including the legislation of the EU. It further defines different kinds of biodegradable waste as well the description of available methods of its processing. The main part of my thesis covers the development of the production of communal waste in the town of Beroun and its surroundings. Above all, it contains the analysis of results and the economic evaluation of the communal waste disposal. The thesis gives details of the course of the pilot project on biodegradable communal waste disposal in Beroun. The most significant part is devoted to the process of collection, transport and utilization of biodegradable communal waste in Beroun along with the proposal of alternative solution.
