Úrazy jsou celosvětovým problémem. Budeme-li se pohybovat v číslech jen pro Českou republiku, zjistíme, že ročně je v chirurgických ambulancích ošetřeno v průměru na 390 tisíc úrazů dětí ve věku 0 ? 14 let a dále až 200 tisíc úrazů u mladistvých ve věku 15 ? 19 let. Ročně u nás na následky úrazu umírá až 420 dětí ve věku 0 ? 19 let. Není to zanedbatelné číslo, a proto je třeba, aby si hlavně rodiče uvědomovali veškeré rizikové chování svého dítěte, a to v jakémkoli věku. V jednotlivých kapitolách práce jsou popsány úrazy dětí, mechanismus jejich vzniku, druhy poranění a jejich podrobné popsání. Dále jsou také popsána jednotlivá místa, kde hrozí úraz (včetně poranění způsobených zvířetem). Práce se věnuje následkům úrazů, preventivní činnosti a s tím souvisejícím používáním ochranných pomůcek a v neposlední řadě i první pomoci, když už úraz vznikne. Uvedeny jsou i statistické údaje úrazovosti z České republiky. Praktická část je zaměřena na to, zda rodiče dbají na bezpečnost dětí, kde se dítě nejčastěji poraní, zda rodiče a děti používají ochranné pomůcky a jestli jsou připraveni na případný úraz dítěte. Ke zjištění údajů pro vyhodnocení praktické části práce byla využita dotazníková metoda a výsledky jsou uspořádány do tabulek a grafů.. -- Abstract: The topic of this bachelor's thesis is "The issue of injury rate of children aged 3 - 6 years'. Injuries are a worldwide problem. If we take in account numbers only for the Czech republic, we find out that the average year number of those treated in surgical emergencies is 390 thousand for children aged 0 - 14 and up to 200 thousand for youngsters aged 15 - 19. The year amount of children aged 0 - 19 dying as a consequence of injury is around 420. The number is not negligible, therefore it is important for parents to take into consideration the child's risky behavior, whatever age. In each chapter of this thesis there are described children's injuries, the means of their origin, as well as diferent types of wounds and their detail description. Further there is a list of places with high risk of injury (including injuries by animals). The thesis is focused on the consequences of injuries, precautionary activities, the usage of safety equipment, and the first aid when the injury occurs. There are some statistic data of injury rates in the Czech republic presented in the thesis. The practical part of this thesis is focused on the fact how parents look after their children's safety, on what places children are mostly injured, whether parents use safety equipment and are ready to react to the potentional child's injury. We used a questionary to collect data for evaluation and the results are represented in charts and graphs.
