Note Ved. práce Renata Cornejo Abstract This thesis analyzes the character of Roman, the main male-character of Jaromir Konecny's novel InKarin, and other characters of this book. His life, behavior and relationship to women are interpreted from the perspective of feminist literary science, based mainly on the classic work of Pam Morris or Ruth Klüger. In the novel are portrayed gender stereotypes, objectification of women and men and gender power relations. The analysis also focuses on the deconstruction of the ?sex-war?, which is the theme of the novel.
