Note Lic. smlouva Abstract Pro svou práci jsem zvolila problematiku populačního vývoje města Ústí nad Labem. Sledovanými aspekty jsou demografické ukazatele, např. reprodukce obyvatelstva, porodnost, úmrtnost, potratovost, migrace a jiné. Demografická situace ve městě je v mnohých ohledech horší než v České republice. Přispívá k tomu zejména vysoká nezaměstnanost, postupně se lepšící, nicméně stále relativně nízká úroveň vzdělanosti obyvatelstva, vyšší úmrtnost, stárnutí populace. Město je také charakteristické mladší věkovou strukturou obyvatel a vyšší úhrnnou plodností. My paper deals with the problems of population development in Ústí nad Labem city. I focused at the demographic indicators, such as the reproduction of population, birth rate, death rate, abortion and miscarriage rate, migration and other. From the demographic point of view it can be concluded that the situation in city is worse than in the rest of the Czech Republic. A lot of facts seem to have contributed to it, such as the high rate of unemployment gradually improving however still relatively low level of education, higher death rate, population ageing.
