Geografie malé oblasti : Velké Březno [rukopis] / Lenka Kozejová. -- 2008. -- 138 l. : il., mapy. -- Ved. práce Milan Bursa. -- Abstract: Cílem diplomové práce "Geografie malé oblasti Velké Březno" je podat komplexní geografickou charakteristiku této obce z hlediska přírodních poměrů, historického vývoje, socioekonomického popisu, či z hlediska cestovního ruchu. Velké Březno je velice atraktivní obcí, která se nachází na pravém břehu vodního toku Labe a svým územím patří do Chráněné Krajinné oblasti Českého středohoří. Obec má také velice výhodnou polohu vzhledem k 7 km vzdálenému centru města Ústí nad Labem a 16,5 km vzdálenému centru města Děčín. Díky bohaté historii, kulturně-historickým památkám, Přírodním památkám, cyklistickým trasám a vysoké estetice krajiny má Velké Březno vynikající předpoklady pro cestovní ruch. Proto není divu, že v této oblasti probíhá ve velké míře suburbanizace, a samozřejmě tak vrůstá i potřeba právě geografické analýzy oblastí, což je právě jedním z cílů této diplomové práce. Text je rozdělen do 8 kapitol, které poskytují informace o poloze okresu Ústí nad Labem a Velkém Březně, charakterizuje fyzickogeografické a socioekonomické poměry, podává stručný historický přehled, snaží se zhodnotit předpoklady pro cestovní ruch a v podobě SWOT analýzy se snaží posoudit slabé a silné stránky obce, její hrozby a příležitosti. Práce se také snaží charakterizovat změny, kterými obec prošla a nastínit možnosti vývoje a rozvoje této oblasti do budoucna. Diplomová práce by mohla sloužit nejen obyvatelům okresu Ústí nad Labem lépe poznat tuto menší ale přesto velice významnou obec z hlediska její celkové charakteristiky, ale také obci Velké Březno jako možný podklad ke zpracování informační brožury.. -- Abstract: The main goal of this thesis, ``The Geography of a Small Area Velké Březno,crqq is to furnish a comprehensive description of the geographical characteristics of the municipality Velké Březno and to describe its historical expansion, current state and potential trends of future development. The area of Velké Březno is situated 7 km from the centre of the city Ústí nad Labem in Northwestern Bohemia, on the right bank of the Elbe. The entire municipal area lies within the Elbe valley and it belongs to the ``Czech Medium-Mountains'q Protected Landscape Area. The thesis is divided into eight chapters with many subsections. The first chapter provides a basic description of the location and characteristics of the region Ústí nad Labem and the municipality Velké Březno. The second chapter describes in more detail the physical-geographical characteristics of Velké Březno. The third, fourth and fifth chapters provide accounts of the history of the municipality, its demography, and the development of its administrative structures. The sixth chapter examines the economy of the municipality, discussing industry, agriculture, transportation, culture, and public and private services. The second to last chapter focuses in detail on the tourism industry in Velké Březno, listing features of interest to tourists and making suggestions for future development. The last chapter provides a ``SWOT analysis'q that evaluates the current organization of Velké Březno according to the following categories: Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. This thesis finds that Velké Březno belongs to one of the most attractive areas in the ``Ústecký'q Region and is endowed with a landscape of high aesthetic quality. Its potential for development is therefore tremendous.
