Vedoucí práce Slavomil Fischer Abstract Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jaké adaptační potíže se objevují v souvislosti s onemocněním roztroušenou sklerózou a cévní mozkovou příhodou a potom je podrobit rozboru a porovnání jejich výskytu u obou onemocnění. V teoretické části jsou definovány náročné životní situace a především nemoc, jako jedna z nich. Jsou zde popsány mechanismy zvládání těchto situací. Také jsou zde popsány obě uvedené nemoci a jejich dopady. Empirická část je tvořena výsledky vlastního výzkumného šetření a analýzou a srovnáním adaptačních obtíží u nemocných s roztroušenou sklerózou a cévní mozkovou příhodou. Vzhledem k cílům práce byl zvolen výzkumný problém deskriptivního charakteru. Výzkumný vzorek tvoří 48 respondentů v produktivním věku. Adaptační potíže jsou rozděleny do tří skupin na somatické, psychické a sociální. Je provedeno srovnání výskytu těchto potíží u obou diagnóz, a to z pohledu pohlaví, věku, rodinného stavu a dosaženého vzdělání. V závěru práce jsou formulovány doporučení pro praxi sociálního pedagoga a dalších pomáhajících profesí. The aim of the thesis is to find out what adaptation difficulties occur in connection with multiple sclerosis and stroke, and then to analyze them and compare their occurrence in both diseases. In the theoretical part, demanding life situations and, above all, the disease, are defined as one of them. The mechanisms for managing these situations are described here, and both diseases and their effects are also described here. The empirical part consists of the results of its own research survey and analysis and comparison of adaptation difficulties in patients with multiple sclerosis and stroke. Due to the objectives of the work, a research problem of a descriptive nature has been chosen. The research sample consists of 48 working-age respondents. Adaptation difficulties are divided into three groups: somatic, psychological and social. A comparison of the incidence of these problems in both diagnoses is made in terms of gender, age, marital status and educational attainment.
