Vedoucí práce Běla Hátlová Abstract Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem aktivizace seniorů s Alzheimerovou chorobu v domově pro seniory. Teoretická část se věnuje problematice z oblasti stárnutí a stáří, tělesným, psychickým i sociálním změnám, ke kterým v průběhu stárnutí dochází. Také je zde popsána charakteristika demence a její druhy, přičemž je největší pozornost věnována Alzheimerově chorobě a jejím jednotlivým stádiím. Dále je práce zaměřena na aktivizaci a její dílčí metody, které lze při práci s lidmi trpícími demencí využít. Praktická část vychází z kvalitativního výzkumu uskutečněného v Domově seniorů v Uhlířských Janovicích. Hlavními metodami sběru dat bylo opakované testování respondentů a jejich pozorování při skupinové či individuální aktivizační činnosti. This diploma thesis deals with the topic of activation of seniors with Alzheimer's disease in the home for the elderly. The theoretical part deals with issues of aging, physical, psychological and social changes that occur during geting older. It also describes the characteristics of dementia and types of them, with the greatest attention paid to Alzheimer's disease and its individual stages. Furthermore, the work is focused on activation and its partial methods, which can be used when working with people suffering from dementia. The practical part is based on the qualitative research carried out in the House of Seniors in Uhlířské Janovice.
