Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. První část je věnována pojmu brownfields, jeho definicí, dělením, významem, příčinami vzniku a možnostem financování případné regenerace. Ve druhé, praktické části, je provedena identifikace a zmapování brownfields v regionu. Výsledkem je porovnání evidovaných a neevidovaných brownfields, dílčí statistika, katalog brownfields a návrh regenerace vybrané lokality.. -- Abstract: The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to provide an introduction to brownfields in Karlovy Vary district and their subsequent analysis. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The first part is dedicated to the concept of brownfields, their definition, categorisation, significance, causes behind their existence, and possibilities of financing possible regeneration. In the second, practical part, the identification and mapping of brownfields in the region is carried out. The result is a comparison of registered and unregistered brownfields, statistics, a brownfield catalogue, and a regeneration design of a selected site.
