Práce představuje jednotlivé sbírky vzhledem k jejich vzniku a tématice a zasazuje je do kontextu s autorovým životem. Jejím hlavním cílem je zachytit vývoj motivů a jejich srovnání v následujících sbírkách: "Hölle, Haß und Liebe" (1943), "Der Bruder Namenlos" (1947), "Wanderer in den Morgen" (1951), "El Shatt" (1960) a "Heimat, die ich immer meinte" (1964). Dále práce analyzuje na základě Fürnbergerovy dochované korespondence jeho vztah k Československu v exilu a po 2. světové válce.. -- Abstract: The subject of this thesis is a depiction and comparison of Prague, Czech and historical motives in the exilian and postwar literary output of the poet Louis Fürnberg. The thesis presents individual collections of poems in consideration of their origins and themes and relates them to the author´s life. Its main object is to depict the development of their motives and their comparison in the following collections of poems: "Hölle, Haß und Liebe" (1943), "Der Bruder Namenlos" (1947), "Wanderer in den Morgen" (1951), "El Shatt" (1960) and "Heimat, die ich immer meinte" (1964). Furthermore it analyses his relation to Czechoslovakia in exile and after the Second World War on the basis of extant correspondence of Fürnberg.
