Pro lepší pochopení této problematiky jsem vybral konspirační teorii o Pearl Harboru, aby sloužila jako zdroj praktických ukázek. První část práce popisuje, co vlastně konspirace je. Představí konspiraci o přepadení základny Pearl Harbor a také nabízí úvahy o klasifikaci konspirací jakožto formy mytologie. Hlavní část práce je teoretická analýza toho, jak konspirace funguje a jejích efektů, konkrétně důvodů, proč je lidé vytváří a jak autoři konspiračních teorií nakládají se zdroji informací. V poslední části pak poskytuji praktické ukázky z konspirace o Pearl Harboru a také představuji jedinečnou vlastnost této konspirační teorie.. -- Abstract: This thesis studies conspiracy theories as an element of anthropology, analyzing the reasons why they are created and why they are believed. To provide a better understanding of this I have chosen the Pearl Harbor conspiracy theory to serve as a source of practical examples. The first part of the thesis describes what a conspiracy is, introduces the conspiracy about the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor and also offers some ideas for classification of conspiracies as a form of mythology. The main part of the thesis is theoretical work which analyses the inner workings of conspiracy theory and its effects, particularly the reasons for their creation and how conspiracy theorists deal with their sources of information. In the last part I provide examples from the Pearl Harbor conspiracy and also show a unique feature of the Pearl Harbor conspiracy which is not present in most other conspiracies.
