Tato práce shrnuje základní informace o autorech, kteří přispívali do Pražského lingvistického kroužku, o jejich dílech a přínosech. Cílem bakalářské práce je analýza nejvýznamnějších děl vytvořených ruskými členy - R. O. Jakobsonem a N. S. Trubeckým, z hlediska jejich významu pro mezinárodní lingvistiku. Prozkoumání jejich účasti na vzniku a vývoji Pražského lingvistického kroužku, jejich vliv na českou a zahraniční jazykovědu. Stručný popis dalších důležitých děl obou autorů a shrnutí životní dráhy ruských lingvistů s důrazem na jejich místo v Kroužku. Popsat fungování Pražské školy, poukázat na její vliv na lingvistiku.. -- Abstract: The topic of my thesis is the issues concerning the Prague linguistic circle. This thesis sums up the basic information about the authors, who have contributed to the Prague linguistic circle, about their works and contribution. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the most important work of the Russian members R.O. Jakobson and N.S. Trubetzkoy, from the standpoint of their importance for the international linguistic. The point is the examination of their participation in the creation and development of the Prague linguistic circle and their influence to the Czech and foreign linguistics and then a brief description of other important work of both authors and a summary of the life stories of Russian linguists with the emphasis on their place in the Circle, description of the function of the Prague School ans definition of its influence on the linguistic.
