Práce je rozdělená na dvě části, na část teoretickou a na část praktickou. Teoretická část se zabývá otázkou teorie odborného překladu a překladatelskými metodami. Také popisuje překladatelské postupy a některé druhy překladu. Praktická část se zabývá konkrétním překladem. Jedná se o překlad informací, týkající se ruské banky Sberbank, její historií a zahraničními sítěmi. Také se zabývá překladem bankovních služeb. Cílem práce bylo seznámit čtenáře s odbornou teorií překladu a co nejlépe přeložit webové stránky Sberbank RF z ruštiny do češtiny. In my bachelor´s thesis the emphasis is put on the role of professional translation. The thesis is divided in two parts; the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part explores the importance of professional translation theory and of translation methods. It also describes translation procedures and some of the translation types. The practical part comprises concrete translations. These are translations of information and data related to the Russian bank Sberbank, its history and foreign connections. It also includes the translation of bank services. The main goal of my thesis was to present the professional translation theory to a common reader and to translate the Sberbank RF websites from Russian to Czech in the best possible and comprehensible way.
