Krátké seznámení s historickým vývojem, z hypotéz do dnešní, moderní podoby a formulace. Teoretická část je provázána s empirickým aspektem práce a pojednává, na základě výsledků výzkumů, o tom jak mluvčí různých jazyků vnímají a přemýšlejí o abstraktních pojmech, jako je čas, prostor a gramatický rod. Součástí praktické části je vlastní výzkum za účelem shromáždění dat, formou dotazníků, a porovnání výsledků s výsledky vědeckých studií, dále také vlastní interpretace získaných dat a vyvození závěrů nad hypotézami stanovenými v teoretické části práce.. -- Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of Linguistic Relativity. It contents a brief introduction to the historical development of the Linguistic Relativity from its roots to the state of the art form. Theoretical and practical aspect elaborates on the findings of scientific research and explains in what way and to what degree the language/s we speak may or may not affect the way we think about concepts such as grammatical gender, space and time. As a part of the practical aspect it attempts to conduct its own research and collect date in the form of tests and questionnaires, to compare and interpret the results of these data and come to conclusions about questions and hypotheses raised in the theoretical part.
