První část se zabývá teorií cestovního ruchu a vývojem cestovního ruchu v České republice. Ve druhé části práce popisuje charakteristiku regionu Nymburka a infrastrukturu cestovního ruchu v něm. Třetí část popisuje historii vybraných obcí v regionu, jejich nejvýznamnější kulturně historické atraktivity a kulturní a volnočasové aktivity. Ve čtvrté části jsou zmíněny aktuální trendy, které v regionu probíhají. Pátá část vyhodnocuje význam cestovního ruchu ve zkoumaném regionu, šestá část prostřednictvím SWOT analýzy vymezuje silné a slabé stránky, příležitosti a hrozby. V poslední části jsou zahrnuty výsledky dotazníkového šetření.. -- Abstract: The subject of this bachelor thesis is analysis and actual trends of tourism in Nymburk region. The first part deals with a theory of tourism and the development of tourism in the Czech Republic. In the second part the thesis describes the characteristics of the Nymburk region and tourism infrastructure there. The third part describes the history of selected municipalities in the region, their the most important cultural and historical attractions and cultural and leisure activities. In the fourth part are mentioned actual trends taking place in the region. The fifth section evaluates the importance of tourism in the region, sixth part defines strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats through the SWOT analysis. The last section includes the results of the survey.
