Práce se zabývá problematikou úrovně plavecké vytrvalosti. Teoretická část pojednává o poznatcích týkajících se plavání, plaveckých sportů, motorických schopností a motorického testování. V praktické části se práce zabývá výsledky zjištěnými realizací testu 12 minut souvislého plavání. V této části je hodnocena úroveň plavecké vytrvalosti studentů prvního ročníku studia tělesné výchovy na základě výkonu v testu. Dále práce srovnává výkon a hodnocení u pohlaví a také srovnává hodnocení studentů tělesné výchovy se studenty oboru Aktivity v přírodě. Evaluation of level of swimming endurance of students majoring in Physical Education at Jan Evangelista Purkyne University. The study is based on realization of 12-minute test of continuous swimming. This thesis is focused on the issue of level of swimming endurance. The theoretical part deals with knowledge of swimming, swimming sports, motor skills and motor testing. The practical part follows up results found out by realization of 12-minute test of continuous swimming. In this part, the level of swimming endurance of first year students majoring in Physical Education based on the results of the test is evaluated. The thesis also compares results and the evaluation of gender and also compares the evaluation of students majoring in Physical Education with students majoring in Outdoor Activities.
