V experimentální části byla metoda MALDI TOF použita k identifikaci bakterií izolovaných ze vzorků biologického materiálu. Výsledky identifikace touto metodou byly porovnány s výsledky identifikace biochemickými testy (ENTEROtest 16, ENTEROtest 24 firmy ErbaLachema). Výsledky získané MALDI TOF i biochemickými testy se z velké části shodovaly, přičemž vyšší míra shodné identifikace byla mezi MALDI TOF a ENTEROtestem 24. Theoretical part of the thesis is a review of the contemporary scientific literature on MALDI TOF and on application of the method in the bacteria identification at labs of medical microbiology. In the experimental part of the thesis MALDI TOF was used for the purpose of identification of bacteria grown in clinical sample of the biological material. These results were compared with those ones obtained using biochemical tests (Enterotest 16, Enterotest 24 of ErbaLachema).
