Note Ved. práce Eva Strnadová Abstract V této práci se zaměřuji na diabetiky s aplikací inzulinu pomocí inzulinového pera. Práce se rozděluje na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části se zabývám onemocněním Diabetes mellitus - příčiny, příznaky, komplikace a léčba. Ve druhé kapitole jsem se zaměřila na edukaci diabetiků, dále na inzulinoterapii z pohledu sestry. V poslední kapitole teoretické části jsem se zaměřila na možnou léčbu diabetu v budoucnosti. Praktická část obsahuje průzkumné šetření, které mapuje tuto problematiku v diabetologické poradně v Rumburku. Tato práce by měla pomoci zmapovat úroveň teoretických znalostí klientů o výběru místa a aplikace inzulinu. Dalšími cíly je zjistit nejvíce frekventovaná místa pro aplikaci inzulinu, rozsah praktických dovedností při manipulaci s inzulinovým perem, přínos edukace a edukačních materiálů a možnosti k zlepšení edukační práce s diabetiky. V závěru své práce doporučuji možnosti pro zlepšení edukace klientů. This work is focused on diabetes patiens using insulin pens. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part I deal with diabetes mellitus disease ? with its causes, symptoms, complications and treatment. In the second chapter I concentrate on the education of diabetics and on the insulintherapy from the point of view of a nurse. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with potential diabetes treatment in the future. In the practical part a research describing this issues in the diabetology centre in the town of Rumburk. This survey should help to describe the level of klient´s theoretical knowledge concerning the choice of place and insulin application. There are another objectives such as to find the most frequented places for insulin application, to learn a range of practical skills with insulin pens application, benefits of education and educational materials and possibilities to improve the educational work with diabetes patients.
