Nejprve podávám obecný přehled o anatomii páteře, o hlavních problémech etiologie, diagnostiky, prognózy a možnosti terapie skoliózy. Dále jsem sledovala výskyt skoliotického zakřivení páteře pomocí Adamsova testu u dětí staršího školního věku. Měření probandů probíhalo v tělocvičně základní školy v Hoštce. Zároveň jsem sledovala obecné charakteristiky žáků jako je výška, hmotnost, pohlaví, index BMI a Rhorerův index.Veškeré naměřené hodnoty jsem statisticky vyhodnotila a porovnala s výsledky celostátních antropologických výzkumů. Výskyt pozitivního Adamsova úhlu jsem porovnala s výsledky, které uvádí literatura. This thesis deals with scoliosis. First I give a general overview of the anatomy of the spine, the main problems of etiology, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment possibilities of scoliosis. Furthermore, I observed the occurrence of scoliosis curvature of the spine using the Adams test at school children. Measurement of probands was carried out in a gym in pri-mary school Hoštka. I also followed the general characteristics of students such as height, weight, sex, BMI and Rhorer's index. All readings I have statistically evaluated and compared the results with the national anthropological research.
