Note Ved. práce Lenka Müllerová Abstract Cílem této bakalářské práce je seznámit čtenáře s tématem eutanazie a jejího případného zlegalizování v České republice. V teoretické části nastiňuji historii eutanazie v celosvětovém rámci, stanovisko České lékařské komory a i jednotlivých náboženských směrů. Jako další úkol jsem si stanovila zjistit a porovnat názory odborné veřejnosti reprezentované skupinou zdravotních sester a studentek ošetřovatelství Univerzity Jana Evangelisty Purkyně v Ústí nad Labem. Názory jsem zjišťovala prostřednictvím dotazníků vyplněných výše zmíněnými osobami. V této práci se budete nejčastěji setkávat s pojmy jako kluzký svah, thanatologie a paliativní péče, proto věnuji zvláštní pozornost jejich vysvětlení, aby nedošlo k nechtěné dezinterpretaci práce. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to acquaint the readers with the topic of euthanasia and its possible legalization in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part I outline the history of euthanasia in the world frame, the attitude of Česká lékařská komora (the Czech Medical Chamber) and also of individual religious movements. The next task I set was to find out about and compare the opinions of specialists represented by the group of nurses and students of nursing of the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem. The opinions were collected by means of questionnaires filled in by the above mentioned persons. In this thesis you will often encounter the following terms: slippery slope, thanatology and palliative care, therefore I dedicate special attention to their explanation, so that unwanted misinterpretation of thesis can be avoided.
