Note Ved. práce Eva Buchtelová Abstract Dětské mozkové obrně se v posledních několika letech dostává stále větší pozornosti, zejména v očích laické veřejnosti. Děti trpící tímto postižením jsou téměř v každé situaci odkázány na pomoc druhých, čímž se tato pomoc stává v životě těchto dětí bezpodmínečně nutnou. Snahou fyzioterapie je umožnit těmto lidem minimalizovat negativní dopady tohoto postižení různými, ať již více či méně sofistikovanými, fyzioterapeutickými metodami. Pozitivní prognóza budoucího vývoje postiženého dítěte může být do značné míry podpořena včasnou diagnostikou této poruchy. Neméně důležité je samozřejmě i plné zapojení rodiny do léčebného procesu. Fyzioterapie má v oblasti dětské neurologie široké uplatnění a dá se předpokládat, že díky jejímu úspěchu tomu tak bude i nadále. In the recent years, the infantile cerebral palsy has become the centre of attention, especially of laic public. Children who suffer from this handicap are dependent on other people's help in every situation and therefore this help plays a crucial role in lives of these children. The aim of physiotherapy is to allow these people to minimalize the negative impacts of this handicap by various, more or less sophisticated, methods. Positive further development of a handicapped child can be supported by the early diagnosis of this disorder. Of course, total family cooperation in the cure is of the same importance.
