Abstract Glutamyltranspeptidáza (GGT) a dipeptidyl peptidáza-IV (DPP-IV) jsou membránově vázané glykoproteiny s proteolytickou funkcí. Vyskytují se v řadě orgánů většiny živočišných species včetně člověka. Diplomová práce se zabývá tkáňovou a buněčnou distribucí těchto enzymů v komorovém a mikrovaskulárním aparátu vybraných oblastí předního mozku laboratorního potkana a člověka. Aktivita obou enzymů byla prokazována katalytickou histochemií. Intenzita reakce, jakožto míra enzymatické aktivity, byla hodnocena denzitometricky. Glutamyltranspeptidase (GGT) and dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP-IV) are membrane bound glycoproteins with proteolytic functions. They occur in several organs of most animal species, including human. The Thesis deals with tissue and cellular distribution of these enzymes in the ventricular and microvascular apparatus of the selected regions of the forebrain of rats and the human. Both enzymes were detected by catalytic histochemistry in cryostat sections. Intensity of staining, as a measure of enzymatic activity, was evaluated by densitometry. Another responsib.
