Abstract Hlavním důvodem proč jsem si vybral téma Evropská dopravní politika pro moji bakalářskou práci je mé přesvědčení, že stav dopravy jako celku má vliv na každého z nás a toto téma je dle mého názoru aktuální. Cílem mé práce je analyzovat současnou dopravní politiku, stav dopravní infrastruktury, možnosti financování rozvoje dopravních systémů a to nejen z pohledu Evropské unie jako celku, ale i z pohledu samotné České republice. Současně poukazuji na mnoho problémů, které s sebou nekontrolovatelný nárůst objemu přeprav zboží i osob v budoucnu může přinést. Jako nejvíce problematické se jeví nedostatečné financování a s tím spojená dopravní infrastruktura, která neodpovídá nárokům na ni kladenou. Zrealizováním naplánovaných projektů a snížením každoročního růstu přeprav pod hranici růstu HDP v Evropské unie se může podařit vytvořit kvalitní infrastrukturu, která nebude brzdit ekonomickému rozvoje všech členských států Evropské unie. The major reason why I chose the theme of the European transport policy for my bachelor thesis is my belief that the status of transportation has got an influence over everybody of us and this topic is according to my view actual. The aim of my thesis is to analyse a current transport policy, the status of transport infrastructure, possibilities of financial development of transport systems and all that not only from the European union´s point of view but also from view of the Czech republic. At the same time I advert to many problems that can uncontrollable growth of transport in the future bring with. As the most problematic evince the insufficient financing and with it linked a transport infrastructure that does not match with inquired needs. By means of implemention of all the planned projects and reducing annual growth of transport bellow growth of GDP of the European union is possible to successed in creation of quality infrastructure that will not brake of economical development of all member states of the European union.
