Vedoucí práce Christoph Haase. Název a text práce v anglickém jazyce Abstrakt Tato práce se zabývá jistými slovy nalezenými ve dvou verzích Bible. Roky vydání těchto dvou verzí jsou od sebe odděleny dvěma sty let, což umožňuje studovat možné změny ve způsobu užití některých slov. Tato slova byla vybrána na základě jejich vhodnosti pro tento druh práce dle studií náboženské lingvistiky, a také podle jejich četnosti výskytu v obou verzích Bible (přičemž četnost výskytu ve starší Bibli má prioritu v případě velkého rozdílu mezi těmito dvěma verzemi Bible). Slova byla analyzována z několika hledisek: porovnání četnosti, možné změny ve významu a také typické kolokáty. Jedno slovo, stall bylo také rozebráno z hlediska jeho možného významu činění slibu. Toto bylo inspirováno subjektivním úhlem pohledu. Nakonec byl také použit současný korpus, aby se mohla ověřit možná podobnost se zjištěními získanými analýzou Biblí. This thesis studies certain words found in two versions of the Bible. The years of publication of these two versions are two hundred years apart, which allows us to study if there were any changes in the use of certain words. The words were chosen according to their usefulness for this kind of project based on the study of religious linguistics, and on their frequency in both versions of the Bible (with the frequency in the older Bible taking priority in the case of a large difference between the two versions of the Bible). The words were subjected to several analyses: comparison of frequency, possible change in the meaning and also the typical collocates. One word, shall was also examined in regards to its possible meaning of making a promise or a vow. This last one was inspired by subjective perception. Lastly, a contemporary corpus was used and the words were checked again to see if there is any similarity with the results gained from the Bible study. Dal.odpovědnost Šteklová, Kateřina (oponent)
