Na základě širokého spektra různorodých perspektiv tato studie analyzuje vypravěčské postupy a cíle dosažené technikami použitými v těchto románech a zkoumá způsoby, jakými přítomnost autora v textu utváří a ovlivňuje čtenářův prožitek. Analýza autorského hlasu a vypravěčské autority v těchto literárních dílech poukazuje na neustálou proměnu literatury jako živé formy tvůrčího vyjádření, v níž autorská přítomnost i nadále zastává významnou roli.. -- Abstrakt: This thesis explores the role of authorial presence in three classic novels: History of Tom Jones: A Foundling by Henry Fielding, Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray, and The French Lieutenant's Woman by John Fowles. Drawing on a range of critical perspectives, this study analyses the narrative methods and objectives achieved by the techniques employed in these novels and investigates the ways in which the author's presence in the text shapes the reader's experience of the work. The examination of authorial presence and narrative authority in these literary works highlights the ongoing transformation of literature as a vibrant form of creative expression in which authorial presence continues to play a significant role.
