První část práce se zaměřuje na teoretické informace o tomto nástroji. V této části se postupně objeví zařazení akordeonu mezi ostatní nástroje, dále jeho historie, popis jednotlivých částí nástroje, výrobny na našem území a také osobnosti, které jsou s akordeonem spojené. Praktickou částí je vyhodnocení dotazníku, který slouží k seznámení s tím, jaké povědomí o něm veřejnost má a jaké postavení zaujímá ve veřejném mínění.. -- Abstrakt: This bachelor's thesis focuses on the accordion as one of the representatives of aerophones. The first part of the thesis introduces theoretical information about the instrument. This part describes the classification of accordion within musical instruments followed up with its history, the description of its components, the accordion factories in the Czech Republic as well as famous people playing this instrument. The practical part consists of an evaluation of a questionnaire, of which the aim is to understand how much awareness of accordion there is and what the general attitude towards this musical instrument is.
