Práce má za úkol analyzovat a kriticky zhodnotit dnešní problematiku v oblasti liniových staveb v ČR, konkrétně dálničních komunikací a zhodnotit roli GIS v této oblasti. Charakterizovat současný stav a nejdůležitější procesy při přípravě a stavbě dálnic. Analyzovat možnosti využití GIS k efektivnímu plánování, přípravě a realizaci projektů liniových staveb.. -- Abstrakt: In this thesis I discuss the evaluation of the current state of infrastructure in the Czech Republic. The evaluation also includes its historical development of the road infrastructure. This thesis shows variety of complex analysis, research gathered during several years of monitoring as well as it demonstrate today's problems in the its approach in line constructions in the Czech Republic, more precisely the construction of motorways; it will also discuss the assessment and the role of GIS monitoring system in this area. This thesis will point out the characteristics of the current state and the most important processes in the preparation and construction of motorways. Investigation of the possibilities of using GIS monitoring system for more effective planning, preparation and implementation of line construction projects.
