Teoretická část se zabývá stručnou anatomií a fyziologií sluchového ústrojí, škálou vad a poruch, příčiny postižení sluchového ústrojí a znázornění možností komunikace takto handicapovaných osob. Dále se zabýváme specifikami a chybami v komunikaci mezi zdravotnickým personálem a sluchově postiženým pacientem. Hlavním cílem průzkumného šetření je zjistit, popsat a porovnat, jak zdravotnický personál komunikuje s neslyšícím pacientem v ambulantní péči ve zdravotnickém zařízení a do jaké míry je pro ně tato komunikace náročná. Praktická část je formou kvantitativního průzkumu, kde jsme zvolili anonymní standardizovaný dotazník, který byl ztvárněn tak, aby byly zodpovězeny cíle této práce. Tento dotazník byl rozdán na vybraných ambulantních pracovištích Krajské nemocnice Liberec a.s. a zúčastnil se ho personál zde pracující v celkovém součtu 60 respondentů.. -- Abstrakt: This bachelor thesis deals with the communication of deaf patients and healthcare workers in outpatient care. Regional Hospital Liberec was chosen intentionally for this research with implementation at certain outpatient workplaces. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the theory, namely the brief anatomy and physiology of the auditory system, as well as the presentation of the types of auditory defects, their causes and divisions. It also includes communication between hearing-impaired persons and between a deaf patient and health care staff, where the principles of proper communication should be followed. The second is a practical part where quantitative research is selected, in the form of a questionnaire, which was distributed in the aforementioned health facility, which served as a clear overview of the possibilities of communication and dedication to the issue from healthcare professionals. Also, there was shown the awareness of health care workers about the deaf, according to their job position.
