V teoretické části je stručně popsána definice MODS, etiologie a patogeneze. Dále je tato část zaměřena na klinický obraz, diagnostiku a léčbu MODS. Druhá polovina teoretické části se zabývá ošetřovatelskou péčí dle modelu Marjory Gordon a poukazuje na specifiku ošetřovatelské péče. V praktické části je vypracována kazuistika pacienta s MODS a sepsí. Dle získaných informací byly dle modelu Marjory Gordon zmapovány problematické oblasti, podle nichž byly sestaveny aktuální a potencionální ošetřovatelské diagnózy. V závěru práce dochází ke shrnutí problematiky, která může toto onemocnění doprovázet.. -- Abstrakt: The basis of this thesis is nursing care of a patient with multi-organ failure while being hospitalized in an intensive care unit. The definition, aetiology and the pathogenesis of the MODS is described shortly in the theoretical part of this thesis. Then we focus on clinical picture, diagnostics and therapy of the MODS. The second part of the theoretical part is focused on Marjory Gordon´s nursing care model and it points to the specifics of the nursing care. The practical part of this thesis works with the patient case of a patient with MODS and sepsis. According to the information obtained, by the model of Marjory Gordon, we mapped out problematical parts, according to these we compiled actual and potential nursing diagnoses. The final part of this thesis summarizes all the problematics and complications that can accompany MODS.
