Cyanotoxiny nemají k dnešnímu dni souhrnný spis pojednávající o jejich struktuře, účinku, syntéze či degradaci. V této práci jsem se pokusil sestavit soupis známých poznatků o těchto toxinech. Cyanotoxiny lze dělit podle jejich chemické struktury či toxického účinku na organismus. Nejčastěji se jedná o cyklické peptidy s hepatotoxickým účinkem a neurotoxické alkaloidy. Dané účinky byly laboratorně testovány na myších, potkanech a králících. Porovnal jsem i výskyt nových invazních druhů sinic na území ČR. V rámci bakalářské práce jsem se zabýval možnostmi detekce a kvantifikace cyanotoxinů. Nejpoužívanější a nejrychlejší metodou pro stanovení toxických metabolitů je technika ELISA.. -- Abstrakt: Cyanobacteria and their secondary metabolites represent a serious problem nowadays. To date, there are no studies concerning the structure, effect, synthesis and degradation of cyanotoxins. In my thesis, I have tried to compile all the known findings on these toxins. Cyanotoxins can be classified based on their chemical structure or their toxic effect on an organism. Most often, they are either cyclic peptides with hepatotoxic effects or neurotoxic alkaloids. The effects were tested on laboratory mice, rats and rabbits. I also compared the presence of some new invasive species of cyanobacteria in the Czech Republic. Within my thesis, I have also addressed the possibilities of cynotoxin detection and quantification. The most used and fastest method for the determination of toxic metabolites is the ELISA technique.
